·        Dimensions of Basic Fighting Stance

·        Understand the term "Center of Gravity"  and Hara

·        Understand the term Kaizen (simple means "Continuous Improvement" )

 

These techniques should be performed with a partner - for  development of control and distance , into a pad for the development of power and ( if available ) into a mirror for  visual feedback.

Drive in Ura Mawash - Mawash - Step Back 45 degrees Ura Mawash 

Feint Front Hand - Reverse Block - Counter Kizami - Block Mae Geri with Punching Hand, Kizami - Gaku  - Lean out - Feint Ura Mawash - Mawash.

Feint Front hand - Ura Mawash over head - Mawash - Chudan Gaku

Side kick to knee - chest - ura - mawashi (jodan) all on same leg then spinning ura!

Crescent kick , mawashi jodan, spinning mawashi jodan

1-2 jodan punch, back leg mawashi jodan, hold stance, gyak mawashi jodan

feint front leg (knee up) gyak, feint gyak pull of (lateral movent) jodan gyak,

 

all the above done as if sparring - ie working front leg
