John Anderson started training in 1972 and currently holds the rank of 6th Dan in Shotokan Karate - he was Chairman and Chief Instructor to the USKF. He is qualified to grade members and sits on the KaizenCentral Coaching Panel. He no longer competes but represents the association at governing body and international level. He is experienced in many areas of karate from competition, sport  and self-defence to the political arena..

He has trained a number of English Champions and many national level medalists. Members of his clubs have become full English Internationals and have represented their country at European and World levels.
